Chief Executive Officer — Berkeley Payments
I build companies that win globally.
CEO of Berkeley Payments — the payments infrastructure that runs quietly behind other companies' branded programs across North America. Founder of Isratech Capital Partners and GrowthMatters. Serial entrepreneur with two nine-figure exits.
Profile
Lawrence Tepperman is, first and foremost, the CEO of Berkeley Payments — a Canadian Fintech-as-a-Service platform that lets businesses launch and run their own branded payment programs: prepaid and virtual cards, real-time disbursements, and embedded money movement, all under their own brand. Berkeley operates as infrastructure — its clients' brands sit on top, while the banking, compliance, and technical machinery stays out of view.
Alongside Berkeley, he is the founder of Isratech Capital Partners, which backs and accelerates growth-stage technology companies expanding into North America, and of GrowthMatters, which advises Israeli high-tech firms on entering the U.S. market. The thread across all three is the same: helping ambitious companies scale across borders — built on a 25-year record of founding, transforming, and exiting companies in financial services and technology.

The journey
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Lawrence built his career across North America and the United Kingdom — living and working in New York, Raleigh, Chicago, Boston, and St. Albans — before making Aliyah to Israel in 2022. He now lives in Tel Aviv, leading Berkeley on Toronto hours while building bridges between Israeli innovation and North American markets.
